Key Responsibilities

• Acquire materials aligning with technical specs, pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms.
• Manage RFI, RFP, RFQ processes, tendering, and initiate purchase orders via ERP as per requisitions and procedures.
• Ensure timely completion of all procurement processes including vendor evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and sourcing.
• Monitor supplier performance regarding delivery punctuality, quality standards, and lead times, addressing any issues that arise.
• Track purchase orders and acknowledgments with suppliers; generate reports on lead times, shortages, and backlogs; communicate potential disruptions internally.
• Oversee procurement and logistics activities following company policies and procedures.
• Maintain procurement tracking systems and collaborate closely with inventory specialists to manage stock levels.
• Produce regular reports on procurement key performance indicators.

Candidate Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in procurement.
• At least 4 years focused on technology procurement, particularly electronic components and IT hardware.
• Strong comprehension of the procurement lifecycle and hands-on experience managing purchase contracts.
• Extensive market knowledge with experience collaborating across multiple functions, business units, and regions.
• Good awareness of UAE VAT regulations and import-export processes.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in R&D or manufacturing settings is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle EBS.
• Capability to handle high-pressure decisions and meet stringent deadlines.
• Highly curious and passionate about finding innovative solutions to everyday challenges.
• Degree from a recognized university in Electronics, IT, or a related field.
