Process and Proposal Engineer – Wastewater and Solid Waste Management

Overview

This position is open only to candidates with prior relevant experience; freshers, operators, and those from unrelated industries are not eligible. The role is based at IMT-Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana, within the water and wastewater treatment sector. The successful candidate will bring expertise in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) processes related to water and wastewater systems and will be active in proposals, process design, and project estimation.

Technical Responsibilities

• Provide consulting and develop proposals on MEP elements, including mechanical, plumbing, and electrical scopes within water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Design and engineer wastewater and water treatment plants along with associated products such as UF, RO, DM, STP, ETP, ZLD, WTP, mix bed, ionizing plants, sludge de-watering, oil & grease systems, and ATFD.
• Prepare cost proposals and project estimates to support bidding and quotation processes.
• Develop Basic Engineering Packages and create detailed drawings and documentation, including O&M manuals.
• Engage and liaise with clients to discuss engineering aspects and provide technical support when required.

Products and Systems Familiarity

The role covers work on various company products across several categories:

• Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP): Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP), Zero Liquid Discharge Plant (ZLD), Rainwater Harvesting System.
• Water Treatment Plant (WTP): Industrial & Commercial RO Plant, Water Softener, Demineralization Plant (MB Plant), Nanofiltration Plant.
• Waste Management Systems (WMS): Organic, Fully Automatic, and Natural Composters, Shredder, Baling Press Machine, Solid Waste Recycling Machine, Waste to Energy, Clinical & Medical Waste Incinerator, Food Waste Composter.

Additional Requirements

Applicants must come with significant MEP experience in the water and wastewater industry and a strong understanding of environmental regulations related to engineering proposals.
