Role Overview
Seeking a meticulous PMO Coordinator / Project Manager with a strong background in the financial services industry. The role centers on enhancing project governance, managing financial tracking, and fostering effective communication across departments, specifically targeting banking transformation and technology projects compliant with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project-related data to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Create status reports, dashboards, and concise executive summaries to ensure all stakeholders remain well-informed.
- Guarantee timely and precise reporting delivery across the project team and stakeholders.
- Support adherence to organizational governance structures and established toll-gate processes.
- Contribute to audit preparedness and assist in ensuring regulatory compliance requirements are met.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation in line with organizational standards.
- Coordinate and organize meetings involving cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Prepare agendas, relevant documentation, and materials required for meetings.
- Record meeting minutes, monitor action items, and follow up to ensure completion of deliverables.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Five to seven years of proven experience in project management or PMO coordination within banking or financial IT environments.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is essential.
- The candidate must exhibit the ability to operate independently with great attention to detail.
- In-depth understanding of risk management, IT operations, and regulatory compliance within financial services.
- Background in banking transformation initiatives or participation in large regulatory programs is preferred.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for effective reporting and analytical work.
- Practical experience with project and portfolio management tools such as Jira, MS SharePoint, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a demonstrated aptitude for engaging senior stakeholders.
