Role Overview

The Pipe Structure Fabricator position requires full-time presence on-site within the UAE at both workshop and project locations. Responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings and isometric sketches, accurately measuring and marking materials, and shaping pipes and structural parts using specialized tools and machinery. Daily activities involve fitting, tack welding, and assembling pipe configurations and support frameworks, ensuring precise alignment, tolerance adherence, and quality standards prior to final welding. Coordination with welders, supervisors, and other trades personnel is essential to safely and efficiently execute fabrication and installation tasks following company procedures and site safety protocols. Additional duties include assisting in material handling, performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment, and communicating any potential issues impacting quality, timelines, or safety.

Candidate Qualifications

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, isometric views, and fabrication sketches relevant to pipes and structural supports.
• Experienced in measuring, cutting, beveling, and prepping pipes and steel sections using both manual and powered tools.
• Competent in fitting and assembling pipe structures with proper alignment, marking, and preparation for welding operations.
• Familiar with basic welding concepts and able to collaborate effectively with welders during fabrication processes.
• Knowledgeable about industrial safety practices, personal protective equipment usage, and safe handling of materials and machinery.
• Past experience in pipe or structural fabrication within construction, oil and gas, or engineering sectors preferred.
• Able to work in demanding onsite environments including workshops and field sites, with physical ability to lift, stand for long periods, and work in various postures.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving aptitude, and ability to follow instructions and project designs meticulously.
• Basic proficiency in English communication and ability to operate in diverse team settings.
• Vocational training or certification in fabrication, pipe fitting, or related technical fields is advantageous.
