Overview
The Patient Care Administrator (PCA) role at Tribe Clinical Research's Greenville, SC location is a full-time, hourly position focused primarily on recording and entering patient demographic information following Good Clinical Practice and International Council for Harmonisation guidelines. The role demands strong interpersonal skills for frequent interaction with patients and clinical staff, along with exceptional computer proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet patients and visitors professionally.
- Organize and modify patient appointments efficiently.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle incoming phone calls, acting as the liaison among patients, healthcare providers, and coordinators.
- Utilize electronic Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to schedule and verify patient appointments.
- Collect required registration and intake documents from patients.
- Manage patient stipend entries using designated study portals.
- Enter patient data accurately into company systems.
- Complete all necessary job-related training.
- Initiate fax requests for medical records and maintain associated histories.
- Support incoming fax distribution efforts.
- Dispatch notification letters to primary care providers (PCP).
- Participate in meetings and teleconferences pertinent to PCA duties.
