Part-Time Residential Cleaner

Job Overview

This is a part-time, field-based cleaning role located in Milton, Ontario, Canada. Although the job is remote, candidates must reside in the specified geographic area and be available for occasional onsite meetings, training sessions, or company events upon request.

Role Summary

As a member of our residential cleaning team, you will assist in preparing properties following tenant move-outs, maintenance work, and other turnover scenarios. Your work will support a variety of residential service appointments throughout Ontario, predominantly focused on move-out, turnover, and post-maintenance cleaning. Occasionally, housekeeping services for occupied homes may be required. We seek reliable cleaners who take pride in detailed cleaning, noticing small details, and can perform tasks independently.

Typical Duties

• Cleaning residential rental properties after tenant move-out
• Vacant-unit turnover cleaning between occupants
• Deep cleaning following repairs, renovation, or maintenance work
• Preparing homes prior to new residents moving in
• Performing scheduled housekeeping in occupied residences
• Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, hallways, and common spaces
• Detail cleaning inside appliances, cabinets, closets, baseboards, and windowsills
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and debris removal
• Conducting final quality checks before completing assignments
• Taking required completion photos
• Reporting property damage, maintenance concerns, or cleaning issues needing follow-up
• Logging updates through a mobile work application
• Traveling directly between assigned properties

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 years of paid professional cleaning experience
• Comfortable working independently on residential cleaning tasks
• Experience with move-out, turnover, deep cleaning, or housekeeping services
• Detail-oriented and committed to consistently high-quality results
• Proactive in reporting issues rather than ignoring them
• Professional communication skills with customers and operations team
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle and own cleaning supplies/equipment
• Possess a smartphone capable of GPS, mobile apps, photography, and job updates
• Basic proficiency in English communication
• Dependable attendance and strong organizational skills
