About the Role
Liwa University, with campuses in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, has been supporting higher education in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi since 1993. The university focuses on helping students grow academically and personally through strong guidance, support, and learning resources. It offers 30 programs across four colleges: Media and Public Relations, Medical and Health Sciences, Business, Engineering and Computing, along with the General Education Department.
This part-time Contact Center Representative is an important part of the admissions and enrollment journey. The role combines customer support with persuasive communication to help prospective students move from first inquiry to application and enrollment, while contributing to enrollment goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle questions from prospective students through phone, email, and live chat.
- Reach out proactively to potential applicants with follow-up calls and emails.
- Engage interested students, understand their needs, and support them through the application process.
- Use persuasive communication to motivate students to apply and enroll.
- Share clear information about academic programs, fees, financial aid, scholarships, and campus life.
- Explain the advantages of studying at Liwa College.
- Record all interactions accurately in the contact center CRM.
- Enter data promptly and correctly for reporting and analysis.
- Work closely with the admissions team to ensure a smooth move from inquiry to application.
- Provide responsive customer service by resolving concerns and offering practical solutions.
- Be prepared to perform duties at either campus depending on operational needs.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with good interpersonal skills.
- Confidence working in a busy, target-driven environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Well-developed organization and time management skills.
- Prior background in sales or customer service, ideally in higher education or a similar setting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multicultural team.
- Comfort working under pressure and meeting deadlines in a demanding environment.
- Bilingual ability in English and Arabic.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- A diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
Additional Information
The role is part-time and onsite. Responsibilities may be carried out at either the Abu Dhabi or Al Ain campus based on operational requirements. The position is focused on admissions support, customer interaction, and enrollment conversion.
