Overview
The Operations Team Lead oversees daily operational activities, steering the client relationship workforce and ensuring smooth, compliant procedures for company setups, licensing, and government-related services across UAE, KSA, and other regions. This position is responsible for timely completion of services, adherence to regulatory standards, client satisfaction, and enhancing operational and team effectiveness.
Key Duties
- Manage accurate and prompt delivery of operational services including company incorporation, amendments, licensing, visa, and banking tasks.
- Supervise the completion and submission of applications and paperwork ensuring completeness and deadlines are met.
- Oversee active tracking and follow-up on client applications and operational workflows.
- Review and approve submissions prior to formal lodgment.
- Lead and coordinate Client Relationship Executives, Public Relations Officers, and administrative staff.
- Assign tasks, track daily and weekly outputs to guarantee KPIs, deadlines, and quality benchmarks are achieved.
- Offer training, mentoring, and performance evaluations for team members.
- Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and other regulatory standards across client documentation.
- Keep CRM records precise and current, monitoring document validation, expirations, and completeness.
- Enforce adherence to SOPs, checklists, and internal controls.
- Address client escalations and complex scenarios to maintain smooth client onboarding and communication.
- Develop and sustain partnerships with clients, stakeholders, and government bodies.
- Generate regular operational reports on a weekly and monthly basis, analyze team workload, and foster process improvements.
- Assist in the establishment and refinement of SOPs and service level agreements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams to align on client service delivery and proposal support.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Compliance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working within corporate services or operations sectors in UAE and KSA.
- Demonstrated expertise in company formation, licensing procedures, and liaising with government entities.
- Previous experience managing teams or senior operational roles is advantageous.
- Strong command of MS Office applications and CRM platforms, such as Zoho.
- In-depth knowledge of the UAE, KSA, and broader GCC markets.
