About the Role
Join Amazon's global operations network, which delivers millions of packages daily, as an Operations Manager in Orlando, FL. You will lead a team of both salaried and hourly employees, ensuring they have the support and tools to maintain high standards of safety, quality, attendance, and performance during their shifts. This role requires analytical problem-solving and data-driven decisions to improve productivity and efficiency, all while upholding customer expectations for timely and accurate order deliveries.
The operational workflow consists of three key stages: First mile (product storage and readiness), Middle mile (transporting orders to your location), and Last mile (final delivery to the customer’s door). Although specific processes may vary between sites, the commitment to the customer remains unwavering.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor and motivate salaried and hourly team members to reach their full potential.
- Lead significant projects that impact both site and regional operations.
- Develop and implement productivity plans, including forecasting and collaborating with leadership to balance workload.
- Oversee safety protocols, quality assurance, productivity targets, and customer delivery commitments.
- Work closely with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and HR teams to achieve business goals.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and regularly performing activities like pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and reaching.
- Stand or walk for up to 12 hours per shift in environments with varying noise levels and temperatures, sometimes including outdoor loading areas.
- Frequently climb and descend stairs where applicable.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing employees and overseeing performance.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; alternatively, 2 or more years as an Amazon full-time employee with a blue badge.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience with performance metrics, process improvements, or lean methodologies.

The salary range for this position is $91,000 to $136,500 annually, complemented by sign-on bonuses and restricted stock units (RSUs).
