Operations Manager

Overview

Snoonu is expanding its portfolio of real-time mobility and on-demand services and seeks an Operations Manager to establish and maintain robust operational processes ensuring reliable, efficient, and trustworthy service delivery. This pivotal role involves translating business needs into effective dispatch, routing, fleet coordination, and execution procedures, while driving continuous improvement and managing operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day real-time mobility operations, including dispatch, trip fulfillment, routing efficiency, and live service performance monitoring.
• Oversee driver and fleet operations to maintain readiness, availability, onboarding, and consistent service coverage.
• Optimize real-time dispatch matching between demand and supply across zones, time frames, and peak periods.
• Own critical mobility key performance indicators such as pickup times, trip completions, cancellations, ETA accuracy, and utilization rates.
• Plan geo-operations to monitor demand trends and ensure appropriate driver positioning across locations and peak hours.
• Handle incident management by resolving issues like trip failures, delays, driver absenteeism, or system disruptions promptly.
• Establish and enforce operational standards including SOPs for trip lifecycle, driver conduct, dispatch rules, and exception handling.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Technology, Data, and Commercial teams to align systems and operational execution.
• Continuously analyze operational data to identify gaps and enhance the speed, reliability, and efficiency of mobility services.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in operations, mobility, ride-hailing, logistics, or real-time dispatch settings.
• Proven hands-on experience managing driver/fleet operations or supply-side logistics.
• Strong familiarity with dispatch systems, routing algorithms, GPS-based operations, or real-time service platforms.
• Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments demanding rapid execution.
• Advanced analytical capabilities with experience utilizing real-time operational data for decision-making.
• Experience within Qatar or Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) mobility or logistics sectors is advantageous.
