Position Overview

Meraki Square is seeking an experienced Online Business Development Manager to join our team at our Alipore, Kolkata office. The ideal candidate will specialize in generating new business by leveraging online bidding platforms to secure projects and clients worldwide.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify relevant projects on platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, and Guru, then submit competitive bids.
• Analyze client needs and develop tailored proposals accordingly.
• Source leads and convert them into lasting clients.
• Collaborate with technical teams to obtain project estimates and craft effective solutions.
• Conduct thorough market research alongside competitor analysis.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients over time.
• Negotiate project conditions, including timelines and pricing, directly with clients.
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly targets for business growth and revenue.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of five years experience as an Online Bidder or a Business Development Executive.
• Proven proficiency with Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, or similar bidding platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong skills in proposal drafting and client negotiation.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines.
• Basic familiarity with web development, digital marketing, or IT services is advantageous.
