About the Role
Art Dubai Group is looking for a seasoned Network Security Manager to lead the enterprise network security strategy, governance, and operational functions with a strong focus on safeguarding digital infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. This full-time remote position is based out of the United Arab Emirates and targets mid to senior-level professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute comprehensive network security strategies, governance models, policies, standards, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives, cybersecurity best practices, and regulatory frameworks.
- Manage network security operations involving firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, VPNs, secure web gateways, zero trust architectures, segmentation, and perimeter security systems.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including cybersecurity, network engineering, cloud infrastructure, IT, software development, compliance, risk management, business units, and executive leadership to maintain secure and resilient network operations.
- Architect, deploy, and sustain secure network infrastructures spanning data centers, cloud platforms, branch offices, remote access networks, and enterprise connectivity solutions.
- Track and analyze key indicators such as security incidents, threat detection and response rates, vulnerability fixes, firewall efficiency, uptime, compliance, and security control effectiveness.
- Conduct rigorous network security risk assessments, vulnerability scans, penetration test coordination, architecture reviews, and configuration audits; implement corrective and preventive actions accordingly.
- Develop and update network security policies, standards, operational procedures, incident response playbooks, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity measures related to network assets.
- Lead security monitoring, threat intelligence integration, log analytics, incident investigations, security event management, and ongoing enhancements to boost cyber resilience.
- Manage relationships with security vendors, managed security service providers, auditors, regulators, and external consultants supporting enterprise security goals.
- Drive cyber security innovations including software-defined networking (SDN), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR), AI-driven threat detection, and zero trust initiatives.
- Use advanced technologies like firewalls, SIEM platforms, endpoint protection, cloud security tools, vulnerability management, ERP systems, Microsoft Office, Power BI, and cybersecurity analytics to monitor and report security performance.
- Prepare comprehensive cybersecurity reports, dashboards, risk and compliance summaries, incident analyses, and strategic guidance for senior leadership and governance bodies.
- Lead, mentor, and cultivate network security teams and cross-functional stakeholders to promote a culture of security awareness, accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines is preferred.
- Advanced degrees or professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security, CEH, GIAC, or CompTIA Security+ are strongly favored.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in network security, cybersecurity, network engineering, or related technical roles.
- At least 2 years in leadership roles managing cybersecurity teams, network security operations, security architecture, or enterprise security programs is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise network security concepts including TCP/IP, routing and switching, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, Zero Trust, NAC, SD-WAN, cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), SIEM, and incident response processes.
- Proficient with technologies from vendors like Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Check Point, Juniper, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, CrowdStrike, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience with cloud platforms Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform and security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, along with compliance standards.
- Familiarity with AI-based threat detection, SOAR tools, DevSecOps methodologies, container security, vulnerability management, digital forensics, and network automation is a plus.
- Strong leadership abilities, analytical skills, strategic mindset, project management, and problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, presentation, vendor management, incident coordination, and collaboration skills.
- Capability to drive enterprise security initiatives effectively while balancing resilience, regulatory adherence, risk, business continuity, and organizational goals.
- Self-motivated and capable of working remotely with flexibility to handle critical security incidents and emergency responses as needed.
