Network Engineer

Role Overview

This hourly contract position offers the opportunity to work remotely, committing between 10 to 40 hours weekly with compensation ranging from $50 to $70 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze real-world network data, including logs, configurations, telemetry, and event streams from deployed infrastructures.
• Perform labeling and classification of network behaviors, identifying issues, anomalies, and incident patterns.
• Assist in designing schemas and structures for extensive data pipelines that support machine learning model development downstream.

Candidate Profile

• Possess significant experience in Level 3 or Tier 3 network support roles.
• Have practical expertise working with enterprise customer networks, focusing on switches, access points, and firewall technologies.
• Demonstrate proficiency in wireless and Wi-Fi technologies, including managing enterprise WLAN controllers and conducting wireless troubleshooting.
• Exhibit a curiosity and interest in converting raw infrastructure data into inputs usable for machine learning applications.
