Position Overview

The Princeton Review is looking for a detail-oriented, imaginative, and proactive Multimedia Associate Producer to help launch and expand the Princeton Review Media Network, which includes podcasts, video content, live events, and digital materials focusing on education, college admissions, career development, and student success. Reporting to the Creative Director of Brand & Social Strategy, this role collaborates with editorial, branding, and content teams to organize productions, create engaging multimedia content, oversee workflows, and increase audience reach across multiple platforms including podcasts, YouTube, social media, and digital publishing. This role is ideal for students, recent graduates, or early-career media professionals seeking practical experience in building a nationwide media brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate outreach, schedule bookings, and arrange guest appearances for podcast and video productions.
• Prepare briefing documents, conduct episode research, and manage production paperwork.
• Edit and finalize both short and long-form video content for various platforms such as YouTube, social media, and digital outlets.
• Oversee production calendars, timelines, and project workflows to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage recording logistics, follow-up communications, and the organization of production materials and files.
• Handle the publication and distribution of podcast and video content across different platforms.
• Create promotional materials like clips, trailers, and highlights to repurpose content for social media, newsletters, websites, and other channels.
• Contribute to audience growth strategies, community interaction, and platform enhancements.
• Research potential guests and topics and keep abreast of innovations and trends in podcasting, digital storytelling, social media, and video production.
• Assist with live and virtual events as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience or strong passion for podcasting, video production, journalism, digital media, communications, marketing, or higher education.
• Exceptional skills in organization and project management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to multitask and meet deadlines effectively.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating with diverse teams.
• Skilled in video editing for platforms like YouTube and social media using Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Knowledge of podcast production workflows, RSS feeds, publishing systems, and distribution tools.
• Preferred familiarity with tools including Riverside, Descript, Adobe Audition, Canva, Zoom, YouTube Studio, Spotify for Creators, and Libsyn.
• Understanding of YouTube optimization techniques including channel management, thumbnail creation, metadata, and audience engagement strategies.
• Strong enthusiasm for storytelling and dedicated to helping establish and expand a multimedia brand.
