Mobile Application Engineer

Job Overview

Quickcomm Technologies seeks a Mobile Application Engineer based in Delhi-NCR to design, implement, and maintain mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. This role involves collaboration with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create, test, deploy, and maintain mobile apps targeting Android and iOS users.
• Implement new functionalities and improve current mobile applications.
• Incorporate RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms, and backend integration.
• Diagnose and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks across diverse devices.
• Enhance application efficiency, security, and ability to scale.
• Engage in code review processes adhering to coding standards and quality practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX design and backend development.
• Manage app publishing processes on Google Play Store and Apple App Store platforms.
• Ensure on-time delivery with clean and reliable code.

Candidate Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in mobile app development.
• Proficiency in Flutter for cross-platform mobile development is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with native Android programming using Kotlin or Java, and iOS development with Swift.
• Experience working with RESTful services and JSON data interchange.
• Knowledge of state management libraries such as Provider, Bloc, Riverpod, or similar frameworks.
• Comfortable using Firebase services including Authentication, Push Notifications, Crashlytics, and Analytics.
• Understanding of offline data handling and synchronization techniques.
• Proven ability with Git version control systems.
• Strong skills in debugging and optimizing app performance.
• Awareness of the procedures to publish on Play Store and App Store.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in developing enterprise or business-focused mobile applications.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment methods for mobile apps.
• Knowledge of integrating payment gateways, location tracking, camera functionality, and push notification services.
• Insight into mobile application security best practices.

Education & Skills

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline is required.
