Mechanical Technical Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project specifications to identify the necessary submittal materials for plumbing, chilled water, and firefighting product selection and submission.
• Prepare comprehensive submittal and prequalification documentation packages adhering to project specifications and formatting standards.
• Keep detailed records and tracking systems to monitor the status and approval of submittals.
• Offer technical support to the sales team and field staff when required.

Required Qualifications

• Between three to five years' experience in technical support or project coordination, ideally within suppliers of HVAC, plumbing, or firefighting products.
• Deep understanding of plumbing, chilled water systems, and fire protection equipment.
• Capable of reading and interpreting product specifications and submittals thoroughly.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong time management abilities to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for productive collaboration with internal teams and external parties.
• Meticulous attention to detail with dedication to accuracy and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite.
• Familiarity with submittal review workflows and approval procedures.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations applicable to plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
