About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Crafting content that captures current business developments such as customer launch announcements, new feature rollouts, and insights on direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales.
- Developing and managing posts for LinkedIn, articles, and email campaigns.
- Creating customer case studies from start to finish, including conducting interviews and obtaining approvals.
- Producing practical e-commerce and Shopify-focused content tailored for small-scale producers.
- Making straightforward screen-capture videos showcasing features using simple tools like Screen Studio or Descript.
- Managing day-to-day activity and engagement on LinkedIn and Instagram, including responding to initial inquiries.
- Assisting in creating and maintaining a consistent email subscriber list.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, specifically Shopify or WooCommerce.
- Comfortable writing for a business audience with an approachable and light tone.
- An interest in wine or spirits is advantageous but not mandatory.
Additional Information
- The position offers a monthly retainer of AUD 1000, paid ongoingly. Candidates should specify their hourly rate; workload priorities will be set monthly based on availability.
- This role is fully remote but requires working Australian business hours. Preference is given to candidates based in Tasmania to facilitate occasional in-person meetings with customers and team members.
- Direct collaboration with the company founder ensures close involvement and rapid communication without excessive formal briefs.
If interested, candidates are encouraged to provide examples of content created for small B2B brands along with hourly rate expectations.
