Role Overview
We are seeking a Manager for our Strategy Pricing & Interchange team to define payment card economics across Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa. This team manages and shapes the financial flows between various participants in the payment ecosystem, aiming to leverage interchange and pricing strategies to stimulate market shifts and fortify profitability.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with a diverse group of stakeholders including country managers, acceptance teams, finance, and product groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analyses to evaluate the impact and viability of interchange and pricing initiatives at both country and product levels.
- Analyze competitive positioning across products, customers, and countries.
- Research and implement industry best practices in interchange and pricing.
- Engage actively in strategic, acceptance, and competitive economics projects.
- Develop and deliver presentations to senior management.
- Oversee the lifecycle of interchange and pricing initiatives ensuring effective communication and execution.
Candidate Profile
- Exceptional analytical and complex problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced modeling proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, including leveraging AI tools when suitable.
- Strong strategic thinking and conceptual reasoning skills.
- High levels of autonomy, dependability, and ownership.
- A proactive attitude, strong curiosity, and enthusiasm for tackling intricate challenges.
- Innovative mindset to discover new methodologies and solutions.
