Maintenance Engineer

Position Overview

The Maintenance Engineer role involves supervising shift technicians to ensure efficient operation and safety of plant automation systems, electrical equipment, and heavy mechanical machinery, aiming to maintain maximum production capacity.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC software programming to minimize interruptions in automation lines.
• Oversee high-voltage power supply systems including control panels, transformers, and substations.
• Conduct routine inspections and cleanings of the power grid infrastructure to maintain equipment integrity.
• Assemble industrial electrical panels, ensuring professional power cable management.
• Repair and maintain industrial mixing equipment such as paddle and plowshare mixers, mechanical seals, fluid couplings, and gearboxes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical assets including gearboxes, motors, bucket elevators, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, and hanger bearings.
• Maintain automated packaging systems including bagging machines and multi-axis ABB robotic arms.
• Lead shift technicians by organizing schedules, supervising repairs, and providing training to promote quick and safe maintenance procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in a leadership role such as Lead Maintenance Engineer or Team Head.
• Industry experience preferably within Cement, Dry Mix, or Ready-mix plant environments.
• Educational background including a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electromechanical, or Mechanical Engineering.
