Logistics & Fleet Operations Specialist

About the Role

PNW Railcars, Inc. is a growing railcar leasing company providing full-service fleet management across North America. The Logistics & Fleet Operations Specialist will join the Sales & Operations team to support fleet coordination and customer success by managing railcar logistics, fleet data, and cross-team communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor railcar locations and fleet activities nationwide.
• Coordinate delivery, return, storage, and logistical arrangements of railcars.
• Manage and analyze fleet-related data using Excel and Salesforce tools.
• Respond to customer inquiries and support internal departments.
• Assist with forecasting, reporting, and special projects as needed.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Mechanical, and Accounting teams.

Candidate Profile

• Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable handling extensive data sets, especially in Excel.
• Effective communicator who works well with customers and colleagues.
• Self-driven and reliable multitasker.
• Interest in transportation, logistics, supply chain, leasing, or operations fields.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 to 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, leasing, or customer service.
• Rail industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience favored.
