Candidate Qualifications

• Passion for food and cooking.
• Experience working in commercial kitchens or similar culinary settings.
• Strong knife skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety best practices.

• Ability to follow recipes accurately for consistent results.
• Pride in food presentation and quality.
• Physical stamina to stand long hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
• Food Safe Level 1 or 2 certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Culinary or hospitality education is advantageous but not required.

Employment Details

• This is an on-site position located in Invermere, BC.
• Full-time permanent role with 32-40 hours per week average, including paid half-hour lunches on 8-hour shifts. Part-time candidates are also encouraged to apply.
• Hourly wage ranges between $23.50 - $26.46, based on experience, plus eligibility for tips.
• Working hours may start as early as 7:00 AM and end by 4:30 PM.
• During summer, café operates 7 days a week; days off usually occur mid-week, often Tuesday and Wednesday in shoulder seasons.
• Availability for weekend and holiday shifts is expected due to busier service times.
