Lifeguard Team Member Plus

Role Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic Team Members who embody the spirit of "Getting Stuck In", willing to support multiple teams across the resort to ensure guests receive an exceptional experience during their stay at Butlin's.

Lifeguards are essential in maintaining a safe, enjoyable environment in our Splash Waterworld pools and flumes. Safety is paramount, requiring vigilance and strong attention to detail, paired with warm and engaging guest interaction. Additionally, you will lead and assist in poolside activities to help craft memorable times for visitors.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is energetic, versatile, and eager to collaborate with others. As a Team Member Plus, your weekly schedule involves cleaning accommodation on Mondays and Fridays, and serving as a lifeguard for your remaining contracted hours, providing variety and teamwork opportunities every day.

If you already hold a lifeguarding qualification, that's excellent; if not, we will provide the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) training necessary to launch your lifeguarding career. Additionally, you must successfully complete a swim test conducted by Butlin’s.

Swim Test Requirements

• Swim 50 meters within 75 seconds
• Tread water continuously
• Perform surface diving
• Exit the pool independently
