Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Learning & Talent Development Manager to spearhead comprehensive talent initiatives for a growing U.S.-based company located in West Los Angeles. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this full-time onsite position offers a base salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 plus bonuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement the overall learning and development strategy across the U.S. division.
- Conduct comprehensive Training Needs Analyses throughout the organization.
- Plan and organize annual training calendars and development programs tailored to employee growth.
- Develop leadership development pathways and employee learning journeys aligned to organizational goals.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using analytics and business impact measurements.
- Administer the company's Learning Management System (Workday Learning), managing content, learner paths, reporting, and enhancing user experience.
- Collaborate with HRIS and IT teams to implement system improvements and updates.
- Create dashboards to monitor participant engagement and compliance metrics.
- Lead the design and execution of succession planning initiatives and facilitate talent calibration sessions.
- Develop Individual Development Plans for employees and nurture high-potential talent programs and leadership pipelines.
- Manage the organization's performance management processes, including Workday performance module administration.
- Prepare manager support toolkits and training materials to foster a culture of continuous feedback and coaching.
- Analyze trends related to workforce performance and capability.
- Create and oversee internship and early career development programs, establishing university partnerships to build talent pipelines.
- Support internal mobility initiatives and collaborate with Talent Acquisition on campus recruitment and workforce planning.
- Work closely with various HR functions and business leaders to ensure talent strategies align with company objectives.
- Provide leadership with insightful, data-driven reports on organizational capability and talent progression.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in Talent Development, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or Talent Management roles.
- Proven track record of designing and deploying enterprise-level learning and leadership development programs.
- Strong expertise in administering Workday Learning or similar enterprise Learning Management Systems.
- Deep knowledge of succession planning, performance management, leadership development, and talent review processes.
- Experience creating internship, early career, or internal mobility programs.
- Capability to conduct Training Needs Analyses and turn findings into effective development initiatives.
- Excellent skills in facilitation, presentations, and managing key stakeholder relationships.
- Experience collaborating across diverse business units and leadership tiers.
- Strong analytical aptitude with experience in building talent metrics dashboards and reports.
- Experience in multi-site, retail, consumer, or fast-growing organizational environments is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Workday HCM are preferred.
Additional Information
This role follows a five-day onsite work schedule based in West Los Angeles. The manager will have a significant role in influencing leadership development, organizational capability building, employee advancement, and workforce planning, partnering closely with executive leadership to drive the organization's future.
