Overview

As a Learning & Development Manager at Hilton Mainz, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable guest experiences by managing comprehensive training initiatives for the hotel employees. Your efforts will help illuminate the hospitality offered, ensuring every visitor has a warm, exceptional stay.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and implement training programs that align with Hilton's corporate objectives and hospitality sector standards, covering critical areas such as diversity, harassment-free workplace policies, leadership, service excellence, and orientation for new staff.
• Engage with department managers, trainers, and staff to track performance metrics, design improvement strategies, and celebrate outstanding accomplishments.
• Continuously evaluate existing training methods for effectiveness and innovate to meet the evolving needs of various departments.
• Maintain precise training records for individual team members through authorized systems and perform regular audits.
• Supervise specialized departmental training sessions including but not limited to alcohol awareness, food safety, job skills assessments, and educational aid programs.
• Lead and mentor team members with an emphasis on performance monitoring, coaching, and fostering an encouraging and efficient work atmosphere.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in both German and English languages for effective communication.
• Prior experience in a comparable learning and development role is beneficial.
• Comfort with public speaking and delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity for autonomous work.
• Background in the hospitality sector is preferred, enhancing your understanding of guest service dynamics.
• Legal authorization to work in Germany is mandatory.
