The team is made up of strategists, content creators, copywriters, editors, designers, account strategists, and other collaborators who work together with a shared goal: helping brands and teammates succeed through purposeful, high-quality work.
Role Overview
This role leads end-to-end B2B content strategy for Amazon Web Services. The focus is on building scalable, insight-led programs across white papers, thought leadership pieces, solution briefs, case studies, and editorial content, while turning business priorities into content that strengthens authority and supports measurable outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Own the content strategy for a major enterprise B2B brand and guide programs from concept through execution.
- Create messaging systems, content structures, and editorial workflows that keep output consistent across solution areas, audience groups, and content initiatives.
- Work closely with AWS stakeholders to run planning sessions, align on goals, and set editorial direction.
- Act as the senior strategist in client conversations, present recommendations, handle feedback, and build strong working relationships.
- Manage and coach a team of B2B copywriters, giving clear guidance, review notes, and ongoing support to raise quality and consistency.
- Set success measures and performance frameworks, review results, and refine strategy based on data and business needs.
- Spot opportunities to improve the content ecosystem, propose new initiatives, and strengthen the overall program.
- Keep up with trends in enterprise technology, including cloud infrastructure, AI/ML, developer tools, and related market developments.
Experience and Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in B2B content strategy, with a strong history of leading programs for enterprise or technology brands.
- Proven ability to build and scale strategic content systems, including editorial frameworks, messaging, and content plans tied to business goals.
- Hands-on leadership experience managing or mentoring writers and improving the quality and consistency of creative output.
- Strong understanding of B2B audiences, especially technical and executive decision-makers in cloud, SaaS, or enterprise technology.
- Excellent strategic thinking and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex priorities into clear recommendations.
- Strong executive presence and client management skills, including leading strategic discussions and presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Experience evaluating content performance using metrics such as engagement, pipeline influence, and share of voice.
- A collaborative and proactive working style, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and continuously improve programs.
- Preferred experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or another enterprise cloud technology brand.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $80,000 per year. The final base salary will depend on the selected candidate’s background and experience.
Location and Hiring Information
New Engen has offices in Seattle, New York, and Northwest Arkansas, and also supports a distributed remote workforce across the United States. Full-time employees are currently hired in Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
