Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire quality lifecycle process within assigned partner factories, covering sample approvals, in-house raw material production, material testing, and permission for cutting processes.
  • Serve as the chief representative of the international buyer, ensuring all factory operations adhere strictly to global Quality SOPs and brand-specific manuals.
  • Conduct Pre-Production meetings to synchronize factory operations with brand standards and execute thorough In-line and In-process Quality Control audits in cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing departments.
  • Supervise Final Random Inspections to confirm product quality compliance before shipment overseas.
  • Lead, mentor, and train QA teams nominated by the factory, emphasizing continuous quality enhancement aligned with global brand standards.
  • Drive quality key performance indicators such as lowering Defects per Hundred Units (DHU%), increasing first audit pass rates, decreasing inward rejections, and reducing global customer returns.
  • Compile and present detailed weekly and monthly quality performance reports and analytics to global management, supplying actionable insights.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology (B-Tech) or National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) graduate.
  • Minimum five years of hands-on experience in garment manufacturing and quality assurance roles.
  • Excellent communication and project management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical thinking and a process-focused mindset, proficient in MS Office tools.
  • Prior exposure to retail and e-commerce sectors is advantageous.
