Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory management system and supervising everyday laboratory functions. This includes training personnel, ensuring precise chemical testing, and calibrating equipment to support exceptional testing services.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and ensure compliance of the ISO/IEC 17025 quality management system while preserving its integrity.
• Create, distribute, and revise laboratory documentation such as procedures, work instructions, test methods, and corrective action reports.
• Supervise daily lab operations including tracking testing timelines, receiving and logging samples, and managing equipment calibration and maintenance schedules.
• Process raw data and prepare accurate test results for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Conduct training of laboratory staff on chemical testing methods, quality control procedures, and calibration of lab instruments to uphold proficiency and adherence.
• Ensure laboratory environments, safety protocols, and equipment are properly maintained and functional.
• Carry out standard chemical testing and preparation of samples as established by laboratory protocols.
• Support the creation and validation of innovative testing methods to improve laboratory services.
• Exemplify and encourage high ethical standards, discipline, and a proactive work approach as a role model within the team.
• Communicate progress and report issues directly to the Section Leader or Laboratory Manager.
