Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and imaginative Junior Digital Video Editor to join our remote team. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of editing experience and a passion for enhancing storytelling through diverse digital video content. This position involves assisting in editing various forms of content including social media videos, branded pieces, and promotional material, working closely with senior colleagues.

Key Duties

• Edit a variety of video formats, including short-form vertical social videos and extended-length projects.
• Support production by organizing footage, managing project files, creating rough edits, applying color corrections, and adding motion graphics or titles as required.
• Handle multiple projects efficiently in a remote setup while adhering to tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with senior editors, producers, and designers to refine edits and maintain smooth communication and workflow remotely.
• Clearly communicate in a remote environment by asking questions, clarifying briefs, and providing timely updates on project status.

Qualifications

• Possess 1-2 years of professional experience in video editing.
• Highly skilled in DaVinci Resolve, with familiarity in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere and After Effects) being advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote context.
• Solid grasp of full production workflows including color grading basics and motion graphics integration.
• Open to continuous learning and receptive to constructive feedback.
• A strong portfolio or showreel showcasing editing skills, color correction, and storytelling tailored for digital platforms.

Salary

Annual salary ranges between £25,000 and £30,000.
