Junior Accountant

Overview

We seek a meticulous Junior Accountant with at least two years of relevant experience to join our Dubai-based team. The selected individual will handle daily accounting tasks, uphold precise financial documentation, and contribute to financial reporting while adhering to company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately document daily financial transactions and maintain bookkeeping records.
• Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable operations.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and oversee cash flow activities.
• Prepare journal entries and support closing processes at month-end and year-end.
• Help prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense claims, and payment requests.
• Assist with VAT documentation and ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations.
• Maintain thorough financial records and support internal and external audit procedures.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve accounting-related issues.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least two years of experience in an accounting or finance position.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to adhere to deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
