Job Details

• Position: Full-Time Janitor
• Hourly Wage: $13.50
• Pay Frequency: Weekly

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming as required.
• Utilize chemical cleaners and power tools responsibly to avoid damaging floors or other property.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entryways.
• Dispose of trash correctly, including the use of compactors when necessary.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using suitable cleaning agents and equipment.
• Conduct carpet spot cleaning and assist with carpet extraction and shampooing.
• Restock paper products and sanitary materials as needed.
• Adhere to established housekeeping schedules for consistent maintenance.
• Occasionally operate heavy-duty cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Fulfill additional duties assigned based on client requirements or scope of work.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six months’ experience in janitorial roles.
• Ability to carefully follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.
• Willingness to participate in on-the-job training provided by the company.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services.
• Knowledge of custodial methods and commercial cleaning standards.
• Understanding of floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing.
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is advantageous.
