Role Overview and Responsibilities
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive IT Officer to enhance and maintain our IT infrastructure. The role focuses on administering network infrastructure, Windows Server including Active Directory, and managing Office 365 services to support the company's rapid growth.
- Oversee and manage core network components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs to assure effective operation and security.
- Continuously monitor network functionality, quickly diagnosing and addressing issues to reduce downtime.
- Enforce network security protocols to safeguard against unauthorized intrusions and cyber threats.
- Plan and implement network upgrades and expansions aligned with business growth demands.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all network setups, procedures, and policies to facilitate audits and ensure compliance.
- Work collaboratively with other IT departments to guarantee network services are smoothly integrated with company systems and applications.
- Administer IT assets by managing hardware and software inventories, licenses, and asset life cycles.
- Proactively monitor system health and troubleshoot potential problems to avert operational interruptions.
- Offer technical support to end-users resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Conduct monthly security patching on Windows 10 endpoints to uphold system integrity.
- Manage Windows Server ecosystems including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and file services.
- Install, configure and sustain operating systems, servers, and software consistent with business needs.
- Integrate and maintain Microsoft 365 services, facilitating user support and training about current features and updates.
- Implement data loss prevention strategies and maintain Microsoft 365 security policies.
- Handle administration of Microsoft 365 user accounts, permissions, and configurations across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and related applications.
- Provide regular IT reports regarding system performance, security, and compliance metrics.
- Manage and oversee IT projects from planning through execution and monitoring stages.
- Conduct periodic IT audits to detect improvement areas and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Develop and regularly update IT policies, SOPs, and standards ensuring consistent practices and documentation quality.
- Schedule and oversee IT operations to guarantee high-quality system interfaces and user experience.
Eligibility and Education
Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, a B.C.A. in any specialization, or a B.Sc in Computer Science or Information Technology.
