Interior Site Supervisor

Role Summary

The position involves overseeing the daily progress of interior design projects, ensuring all work aligns with approved plans and quality benchmarks. The supervisor will act as a crucial link between contractors, suppliers, designers, and the management team to maintain project timelines and standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee everyday activities at interior project locations.
• Guarantee all tasks are performed following approved drawings, specifications, and design details.
• Liaise with various trades such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, and civil workers.
• Organize daily workflows, ensuring contractors have necessary materials and instructions.
• Track progress against schedules to meet deadlines.
• Conduct routine quality inspections to detect and minimize errors.
• Measure site dimensions accurately before execution or material ordering.
• Collaborate with design teams on drawings and site issues.
• Manage vendor and supplier communications to secure timely material deliveries.
• Keep detailed logs of materials received, used, and outstanding at each site.
• Submit frequent site reports, photos, and updates to project and design teams.
• Ensure proper material handling, storage, and site cleanliness along with adherence to basic safety norms.
• Identify and escalate potential site problems promptly.
• Prepare and follow up on snag lists to complete all pending tasks before project handover.
• Coordinate final finishing touches, installation, and delivery phases.
• Capably supervise multiple project sites when necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred.
• Relevant prior experience in supervising interior site execution is desirable.
• Sound knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, false ceilings, painting, civil work, and finishing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings including layouts and elevations.
• Effective contractor and labor management capabilities.
• Strong communication skills paired with practical problem-solving aptitude.
• Willingness and ability to travel between various project sites.
• Basic proficiency in spreadsheet applications and experience using WhatsApp for reporting considered advantages.

Compensation and Work Details

The position offers a monthly remuneration ranging from INR 15,000 to INR 25,000.
