Position Summary
As an Interior Decorator, you will play an active role in designing and executing interior arrangements for residential and professional environments. Your daily responsibilities include understanding client needs, developing decoration concepts, selecting materials, colors, furniture, and accessories, and preparing mood boards and visual presentations. You will collaborate closely with architects, technical teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution from initial drawings to final delivery. Additionally, you will supervise on-site work, monitor finishes, and ensure deadlines and budgets are met. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Frankfurt.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in space planning and interior architecture to optimize flow, lighting, and ergonomics within spaces.
- Proficient in reading construction drawings and technical plans to effectively communicate with site teams and contractors.
- Strong interior design skills to create innovative concepts, harmonize colors and materials, and establish a consistent visual identity.
- Experience with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) including selecting furniture, lighting, textiles, and accessories aligned with project budget and style.
- Educational background in interior design, architecture, or related fields, along with solid command of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D modeling, and presentation tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, excellent organizational skills, clear communication with clients, and professional proficiency in English and/or German.
