Role Overview
The Integrated Marketing Manager is responsible for the marketing assets, advertising, and promotional efforts for shows in the assigned region. The role partners closely with artist managers, agents, and internal marketing teams to create integrated campaigns that reach the right audience and drive ticket sales. It also requires ongoing coordination with talent buyers and local and central leadership to ensure best practices across email, social media, media buying, CRM, reporting, and related functions.
This position also handles budget tracking across multiple shows, placing media efficiently, monitoring performance, and reporting on ROI and ROAS using centralized tools where relevant.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and deliver integrated promotional and marketing campaigns for shows in the assigned region, while coordinating spend and long-term initiatives with central and local teams.
- Prepare and manage marketing budgets, ensure advertising and media are booked and tracked correctly, and oversee settlement activity for each show.
- Create and optimize digital advertising plans, write ad copy, set schedules, and review campaign performance daily to improve ticket sales.
- Analyze market-by-market performance and adjust strategy based on demographic trends, competition, and changing conditions.
- Partner with central digital media buying, partnerships, CRM, and creative teams to develop targeted digital plans, tailored creative, and partnership activations.
- Coordinate publicity efforts, press interviews, and artist promotion availability with management, labels, and PR agencies.
- Pitch promotional ideas to media outlets, manage radio outreach, arrange radio spots, and organize giveaways.
- Handle day-of-show marketing support when needed, such as house photography, venue website updates, live social posts, media escorting, meet-and-greets, and guest list coordination.
- Build email marketing campaigns, edit content to improve open rates, CTR, and conversions, and manage CMS publishing requirements.
- Oversee graphic creation for e-cards, banners, posters, social posts, radio station materials, and email assets.
- Research promotional partners and businesses, including influencers, based on audience interests and demographic fit.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and work with vendors and partners such as Ticketmaster and AXS on marketing placements, emails, banners, and promotions.
Required Qualifications
- A 4-year bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Communications, or a related discipline.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant professional experience.
- Hands-on experience in media buying, digital media planning, and omnichannel digital marketing.
- Exposure to email, mobile, and digital marketing programs.
- Experience sourcing, managing, and publishing content.
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills, paired with a proactive attitude.
- Excellent organization and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
- Working knowledge of social media strategy and online marketing techniques.
- Creative, highly detail-focused, and able to balance several tasks at the same time.
- Familiarity with MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Google AdWords, Rubicon, CMS tools, and Photoshop.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms and how they can be used in different campaign scenarios.
- Practical knowledge of WordPress is preferred.
- Understanding of programmatic media and real-time bidding.
- Ability to work with data analysis and budget management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships.
- Content marketing knowledge with the ability to move between creative and analytical thinking.
- Comfort taking initiative and guiding others when needed, especially in content development and online reputation management.
- Knowledge of the music industry.
- Analytical mindset with a data-led approach to decision-making.
Compensation and Benefits
The listed pay range is $59,564.55 to $68,250.00 per year. This role is also eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan.
