Identity Engineer - SailPoint (12-Month Contract)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Identity Engineer with practical expertise in SailPoint for a 12-month contract based in Auckland CBD. This role involves hands-on work to implement and enhance SailPoint capabilities within a large-scale workforce identity environment. Collaboration with Application Owners, Identity Architecture, and Security teams is essential to advance identity integration during cloud migration and strengthen identity and access management frameworks, including Identity Governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Modernize and support workforce identity solutions aligned with cloud systems integration.
• Implement and improve IAM controls, focusing on Identity Governance enhancements.
• Collaborate with security and architecture teams to enhance authentication, federation, and access policies.
• Manage secure access processes across the entire identity lifecycle, including privileged access and mitigating access risks.

Candidate Profile

• Mandatory: Verified hands-on experience in SailPoint implementation and management.
• Extensive end-to-end experience in workforce identity and IAM delivery, not limited to advisory roles.
• Practical knowledge of privileged access management, federation protocols, authentication standards, and access risk concepts such as toxic access combinations.
• Proven capability to deploy identity solutions integrated into enterprise-level platforms and programs.
• Confidence in engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.

Technical Environment

• Primarily Microsoft-based workforce identity technologies including Entra ID and Azure, servicing approximately 10,000 users.
• Potential progression opportunities involving customer identity management, supporting around 500,000 users.
