About the Role
This role as HR & Payroll Coordinator at XFS Global is a full-time, on-site position within the Accounting department. The coordinator is responsible for supporting XFactor staff by managing HR daily operations, ensuring precise data administration within the Paycom HRIS system, conducting staff orientations, and overseeing onboarding procedures. This position also contributes toward employee engagement and organizational safety program initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
- Deliver professional and courteous customer service via walk-ins, telephonic, and email communication.
- Ensure departmental filing systems are organized, accurate, and thorough.
- Manage employee records and training documentation.
- Administer and maintain the payroll system.
- Process payroll on a bi-weekly schedule.
- Conduct weekly employee orientations.
- Coordinate onboarding procedures for new hires.
- Support health insurance renewals and manage open enrollment activities.
- Handle inquiries regarding unemployment and employment verification requests.
- Create employee newsletters and promotional materials for special events and recruitment efforts.
- Implement and design employee engagement projects such as suggestion programs, incentive, and reward schemes.
- Assist in developing and enforcing workplace Safety Programs.
- Act as the primary contact for the HR department’s email communications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Understanding of federal and state employment regulations.
- Strong ability to safeguard confidential data.
- Competence in managing sensitive or confrontational situations professionally.
- Proficiency with the Paycom HRIS platform.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal capabilities to build trust and collaborative relationships.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail in a fast-paced workplace.
Experience & Education
- Previous 1 to 2 years of experience in a human resources role is required.
- Leadership experience is advantageous.
- High school diploma is mandatory.
- Membership in SHRM is preferred and SHRM certification is a plus.
