Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to become an essential part of our opening team in Fujairah. This role involves overseeing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring impeccable cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, thereby contributing to a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests.

Key Duties

• Lead and coordinate the daily tasks of the housekeeping team to maintain high standards.
• Conduct inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and designated areas to verify cleanliness and maintenance adherence.
• Assign daily duties and monitor both productivity and quality within the department.
• Manage room release timing and effectively communicate room statuses with the Front Office.
• Coach, train, and motivate team members to uphold consistently excellent service standards.
• Respond swiftly to guest requests and issues, ensuring proper resolutions and follow-ups.
• Oversee the proper usage and maintenance of cleaning equipment, supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
• Detect and report maintenance concerns promptly, collaborating with the Engineering department for resolution.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and hygiene policies along with hotel regulations.
• Assist the Executive Housekeeper with inventory management, reporting, and other departmental obligations.
• Contribute to establishing housekeeping protocols and operational readiness during the pre-opening phase of the hotel.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience, ideally in supervisory or team leader capacity.
• Comprehensive understanding of guest room cleaning, inspections, and housekeeping standards.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong dedication to quality service.
• Proven leadership abilities to mentor, motivate, and support a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
• Practical and hands-on work approach, adept at managing fast-paced environments.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages considered beneficial.
• Experience in hotel pre-opening phases is an added advantage.
