Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, positive, and efficient customer service to guests, clients, and colleagues, adapting to diverse customer needs.
• Ensure all designated areas, including ancillary and departmental zones as well as corridors, remain tidy, sanitary, and safe according to preventive maintenance policies.
• Assess and apply proper cleaning methods as per orientation guidelines with sound judgment.
• Utilize housekeeping equipment and cleaning solutions efficiently and safely under supervision.
• Conduct disinfection and sterilization of equipment and supplies using germicides and sterilization devices when necessary.
• Practice universal precautions in the disposal of trash and biohazardous materials diligently.
• Keep cleaning carts well-stocked with supplies and ensure chemicals are correctly labeled and equipment is in proper working condition.
• Cultivate positive interpersonal and cross-disciplinary relationships while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Participate in enhancing departmental productivity and operational efficiency.
• Commit to continuous professional development by following required training programs within the department.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Effective communication skills with clients, supervisors, and support staff.
• Ability to adjust to changing task demands efficiently.
• Physical aspects include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, prolonged walking, and standing.
• Willingness to wear uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
