Home Care Assistant - Night Shift

Role Overview

As a Home Care Assistant on the night shift, you will provide companionship and support to elderly individuals, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

• Accompany seniors and offer meaningful companionship during night hours.
• Assist with daily necessities such as meal and drink preparation.
• Ensure regular eating and adequate hydration for the seniors.
• Provide medication reminders as needed to support health routines.
• Offer light mobility assistance, including helping seniors walk or move safely.
• Engage in conversation and simple activities to promote emotional wellness.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for the senior.

Requirements and Work Conditions

• Possess a caring, patient, and attentive demeanor.
• Previous experience in caregiving or elderly support is preferred but not mandatory.
• Clear and compassionate communication skills.
• Responsible and trustworthy character.
• Basic understanding of elderly care principles is advantageous.
• Work schedule consists of night shifts from 8pm to 8am, with alternate days off.
• Only 15 working days per month.
• Work location is Bukit Timah, Singapore.
• Monthly salary set at $2400 SGD.
