Overview

Lone Star Circle of Care (LSCC) is seeking a skilled Healthcare Data Analyst to join their Business Intelligence team. This role plays a vital part in supporting LSCC's mission by performing comprehensive data reporting and analytical tasks to improve efficiency and service quality for needy Texans. The position requires the candidate to live within a reasonable commute to the Austin, TX office and to work onsite at least one day per week, with additional onsite days as required for meetings and collaboration. Travel to other LSCC facilities will also be necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly attend work adhering to LSCC's attendance policies and fulfill additional assigned duties.
  • Utilize statistical methods and tools to analyze data; consult with internal and external stakeholders to determine reporting needs.
  • Compile, query, and analyze data sets, identifying inconsistencies, gaps, anomalies, and redundancies by assessing data content and relationships.

  • Develop clear and detailed technical reports presenting data interpretations, alternatives, and recommendations.
  • Assist in establishing and enforcing data standards, quality measures, and improvements based on analysis results.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for new developments, system updates, and enhancements for both technical teams and end-users.
  • Contribute to the creation and deployment of data collection systems and analytics strategies that enhance statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct quality assurance related to data integrity, extraction, and compilation; potentially act as a subject matter expert.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Prior experience in data reporting, data analysis, or business analytics is required.
