Head of Operations

Overview

We are in search of a seasoned and strategic Head of Operations to direct and manage all operational activities across the company. This senior leadership role requires steering business processes, boosting efficiency, managing cross-departmental teams, and ensuring outstanding operational standards that align with the organization's long-term vision and growth objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement operational strategies that support the company’s goals and expansion plans.
• Manage daily business operations to maximize productivity and quality of service.
• Create, implement, and refine operational workflows and performance benchmarks continuously.
• Track crucial operational indicators, offering insight and actionable recommendations to top executives.
• Champion initiatives focused on operational excellence, process enhancements, automation, and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with various department heads to ensure synchronized operational efforts meeting customer and company expectations.
• Handle resource planning, workforce distribution, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Detect operational risks and establish effective mitigation tactics for uninterrupted business operations.
• Lead organizational change, transformation projects, and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, regulatory mandates, quality standards, and internal controls.
• Mentor and develop managers and operational teams, promoting accountability and superior performance culture.
• Contribute to strategic planning, business expansion, and new opportunities pursuit.
• Prepare comprehensive executive reports, operational reviews, and performance updates for stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated leadership experience in operations management, business administration, supply chain, logistics, or similar senior operational roles.
• In-depth knowledge of operational strategy, performance monitoring, and process optimization techniques.
• Proven ability to lead large and cross-functional teams effectively.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and decisive decision-making capability.
• Exceptional leadership qualities, communication prowess, negotiation skills, and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Experience with budgeting processes, forecasting, workforce planning, and performance tracking.
• Knowledgeable in business systems, ERP software, data analytics, and reporting tools.
• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, ever-evolving, growth-oriented work environment.
• Sound commercial insight and strategic business understanding.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related disciplines is preferred; MBA or leadership certifications are a plus.
