Role overview
CBRE is looking for a Handyperson to support the growth of its local Global Workplace Solutions business in North West Melbourne. The role is based onsite and offers a 38-hour work week.

Key duties
- Carry out scheduled maintenance, urgent repairs, and preventive upkeep tasks, while keeping accurate records of work completed.
- Check and assess allocated work orders.
- Work out the time, labour, and materials required for each repair job.
- Support fault-finding and repair work on buildings and installed systems.
- Assist with the fitting, setup, and adjustment of building equipment and systems.
- Review job requests, estimate required resources, and order the materials and supplies needed to finish the work.
- Maintain lighting across the site, including cleaning light fittings and replacing bulbs and lamps.
- Act promptly when emergency situations arise.
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate should bring practical trade knowledge and a strong safety mindset. Experience with epoxy flooring is preferred. Plumbing trade qualifications or equivalent hands-on experience are highly regarded, along with practical carpentry and general building repair ability. A basic understanding of electrical work and the safety considerations around it is also needed. Previous experience handling general maintenance in a structured commercial setting is important. A current driver’s licence is required, and relevant OH&S certifications such as forklift operation, elevated work platform use, and working at heights are preferred.
Working pattern
This is a full-time role with 38 hours per week.
