Position Overview
This role involves essential maintenance tasks primarily focused on servicing heavy equipment and vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and longevity. The position requires physical presence on-site in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, with no opportunities for remote work.
Required Language and Education
- Proficiency in English.
- No formal educational qualifications such as degrees, certificates, or diplomas are necessary.
Experience
Candidates should have worked for at least one month but less than seven months in related maintenance roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Replace or replenish hydraulic and transmission fluids as required.
- Provide assistance to mechanics and execute tasks delegated by them.
- Perform oil changes and lubricate moving components of automobiles, trucks, and heavy machinery.
- Apply grease to critical parts such as booms, pulleys, and buckets on heavy equipment.
- Conduct maintenance and repair services directly at the job site.
- Replace essential filters including oil, air, and fuel on various motor vehicles and heavy equipment.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Job tasks require physical movements including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Manual dexterity is necessary for handling tools and performing maintenance activities efficiently.
