About the Role
This ongoing full-time position involves creating, developing, and transforming graphic design ideas into finalized artwork for both print and digital media, supporting Arts Centre Melbourne's shows, experiences, and projects. The remuneration band is $78,901 per annum plus superannuation.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality graphic design across print and digital formats aligned with briefs and concepts
- Engage in design work for large-scale formats and signage with a strong grasp of pre-press, production, and printing standards
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
- Operate autonomously in planning, organizing, and executing various creative projects
- Follow brand style guides and team guidelines consistently
About You
- Creative and innovative thinker capable of translating briefs into compelling visual designs
- Passionate about enhancing skills and eager to evolve professionally in design
- Experienced in collaborating within a fast-paced marketing team aimed at audience engagement through creative campaigns
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum of five years of graphic design experience in related roles
- Proven ability to develop images, graphics, logos, and promotional materials adhering to brand identity
- Competent Mac user with advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat
- Strong skills in finished artwork production for digital and print media
- Effective written communication skills coupled with negotiation and problem-solving capabilities
