Global Sales & Operations Analyst

Role Overview

The air cargo sector is undergoing rapid transformation through digitalization, e-commerce enhancements, and the development of digital freight marketplaces. Qatar Airways, as the world's largest air cargo carrier, is at the forefront of this evolution. To support this vision, we seek innovative and driven individuals to join Qatar Airways Cargo's passionate team in Doha as a Global Sales & Operations Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage operational activities related to space allocation, pricing, and the vMail system.
• Gather, analyze, and present data concerning the performance of QR Cargo products across commercial, operational, and financial dimensions.
• Monitor and promote global sales and product development to exceed industry standards.
• Coordinate digitalization and automation projects, including producing training and development materials for the cargo network.
• Provide essential sales and product support to the Head Office, including designing sales presentations for business engagements worldwide.
• Identify inefficiencies in data processes and propose innovative solutions to enhance business practices and overall performance, focusing on operational metrics such as planned flight executions, on-time performance, and electronic data exchange KPIs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Advanced data analytics capabilities with proficiency in MS Excel, Business Intelligence tools, and Tableau.
• Strong competency in MS PowerPoint.
• Background in sales operations or sales support, preferably with exposure to product development.
• Experience within the cargo industry is highly desirable.
• Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to question existing processes and lead change initiatives.
• Project management experience is considered an asset.
