Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a General Support Operative to join our team in Leicester. This role reports directly to the Line Operations Manager and does not have any direct reports. The annual salary is £28,711.09, with working hours encompassing 12-hour continental shifts on a 4-on/4-off roster covering both nights and days, including weekends and bank holidays.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of the production area, including line layouts, bin routes, and appropriate placement of raw materials and line consumables.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards as set by the business.
- Perform sanitation tasks as required to meet operational needs.
- Manage waste effectively by segregating and disposing of it according to prescribed waste streams.
- Carry out manual packing, stacking, and distribution of pallets.
- Complete other General Support Operative duties as required.

- Possesses basic numerical, reading, and computer skills.
- Organized and methodical while able to perform effectively under pressure.
