Role Overview
The position of Full Stack Developer involves maintaining and enhancing business-critical applications while ensuring stability and performance. You will serve as the primary contact for application support, focusing on early issue detection, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain smooth daily operations and ensure the stability of critical business applications.
- Function as the primary support liaison for handling incidents, performance issues, and availability.
- Monitor system logs and application health metrics to proactively detect and resolve problems.
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Quarkus frameworks.
- Write efficient, clean, and scalable Java code.
- Implement and manage data persistence using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Utilize Hibernate/JPA for object-relational mapping tasks.
- Incorporate Kafka for messaging and event streaming requirements.
- Support data validation, environment readiness, and access controls.
- Track key performance indicators and recurring issues to boost application reliability.
- Drive continuous process improvements and optimizations.
- Ensure business continuity during critical operational phases.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 to 6 years of experience in software development and application support.
- Strong proficiency with Java/J2EE, Quarkus frameworks, and Microservices architecture.
- Experience developing front-end components using Angular (preferably version 15 or higher).
- Expertise with Hibernate/JPA ORM tools for at least 5 years.
- Hands-on experience with Git version control, SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases including MongoDB.
- Practical knowledge of Kafka for messaging and event streaming.
- Understanding of ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management).
- Experience with cloud services including AWS components like S3, Lambda, EC2, EKS, and CloudWatch.
- Skills in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Basic familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
Desirable Skills
- Certifications such as ITIL Foundation and AWS or Java credentials.
- Experience in service management tools like ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools, including Git.
- Automation and scripting abilities using Python or Shell.
- Experience with monitoring platforms like Grafana, ELK stack, Dynatrace, Splunk, and Kibana.
- Capability in root cause analysis based on log data.
- Background in regulated environments and Level 3 application support with incident management.
