Frontend Engineer (m/w/d)

Your Mission

• Develop and implement the production frontend using React and TypeScript technologies.
• Create complex, data-intensive user interfaces such as fleet mapping tools, telemetry charts, and real-time status dashboards.
• Enhance the Go-based REST API by adding new endpoints as required by the frontend, including CRUD operations, OpenAPI specifications, and integration testing.
• Ensure high frontend quality by maintaining type safety, optimizing performance for large datasets, and performing continuous integration checks on every pull request.
• Participate actively in engineering best practices, including architectural design, documentation, and peer code reviews.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses more than three years of experience developing production-ready single-page applications using React and TypeScript.
• Thorough understanding of client-side versus server-side state management and appropriate application contexts.
• Comfortable working across the full development stack including adding REST API endpoints, writing tests, and front-end consumption.
• Skilled in designing and optimizing SQL database schemas.
• Experience with Go programming language.
• Proficient with contemporary web development tools and workflows.

Additional Desired Skills

• Experience with data visualization including creating charts, maps, and dashboards focused on time-series data.
• Familiarity with observability technologies like OpenTelemetry or ClickHouse OLAP databases.
• Hands-on experience using modern automated testing frameworks covering unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Knowledge of Docker for local development environments.
