About the Role

Le Royal Méridien Place Vendôme Lusail, part of the Marriott International group, is seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to lead and oversee front office operations. This position is based onsite in Lusail, Qatar, within a luxury hotel environment focusing on personalized guest services and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day activities of the front desk, guest services, bell and door staff, and switchboard operations.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient check-in and check-out procedures, maintaining consistently high-quality service standards.
  • Develop operational goals aimed at enhancing department performance and ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Manage and motivate front office teams, fostering strong teamwork through trust, respect, and effective communication.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints and service issues professionally to uphold guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor staffing requirements to align with guest service needs and business objectives.
  • Implement guest recognition programs, control revenue through effective room sales, and ensure compliance with company policies and credit procedures.
  • Support human resource functions including staff training, coaching, hiring, and orientation processes.
  • Act as role model by exemplifying Marriott's service standards and professional conduct.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Possession of a High School Diploma or GED, with at least 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or related hospitality roles; or
  • A 2-year degree from an accredited university specializing in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or similar fields.
  • Preferred prior experience in front office supervisory or management roles within the hospitality sector.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest service excellence.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities capable of managing teams in a demanding luxury hotel setting.
  • Proven skills in problem-solving and decision-making.
