About Mindrift and the Role

Mindrift is seeking a skilled and adaptable Graphic Designer to support the Tendem project, which combines human expertise with AI systems to enhance data extraction workflows. This position involves working remotely on a part-time, freelance basis, focusing on creating compelling visual communications for diverse marketing needs.

The designer will collaborate with Tendem Agents who manage routine tasks, while applying critical thinking, domain experience, and design skills to convert initial ideas into refined, professional assets. Mindrift is committed to advancing Generative AI by connecting specialists worldwide with leading tech initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop clear, organized layouts, modern infographics, and a strong visual hierarchy to produce content that is both readable and captivating.
• Create engaging, reusable social media templates and visually striking one-pagers that support marketing efforts.
• Enhance standard materials through expert use of typography, grids, and thoughtful composition techniques.
• Transform raw data and conceptual information into polished visual assets tailored to communication objectives.
• Maintain high design quality by rigorously checking for visual alignment, color consistency, and layout uniformity before delivering assets.

Candidate Requirements

• 1-2 years or more of professional experience in graphic design, digital design, or visual communication fields is preferred.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related disciplines is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of typography, grid systems, and visual design principles to elevate everyday content.
• Proven skills in developing cleanly structured visual assets such as infographics and social media layouts.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma for diverse design tasks.
• Ability to adapt designs for different formats, including impactful one-pagers and dynamic digital templates.
• English language proficiency at an upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher is necessary.
• A flexible, detail-oriented approach with the capacity to handle multiple visual projects concurrently.
• Strong self-management skills and a commitment to delivering professional-quality work.
• Applications must include an English CV and a portfolio link demonstrating relevant graphic design work; submissions lacking a portfolio or relevant samples will not be considered.

Project Details & Compensation

This freelance, project-based position involves intermittent tasks dependent on active project phases. Estimated commitment ranges from 10 to 20 hours weekly when projects are underway, but workload is not guaranteed.

Compensation may reach up to $50 per hour equivalent, varying by project complexity, contributor skill, and pace. Other projects may offer different rates.
